چکیده
A novel water-soluble nanorod is discussed, which is prepared via the self-assembly of pristine C60 and a double-sided porphyrin projecting four beta-cyclodextrins from each face.

We report on the synthesis of well-defined thermoresponsive water-soluble diblock copolymer and homopolymers functionalized with controlled numbers of C60 moieties at predetermined positions via the combination of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and click chemistry. Azide-containing polymer precursors including monoazide-terminated and R,R-diazide-terminated poly(N-isopropylacrylami...

In the present work, the interaction of three water soluble porphyrins, tetra (p-trimethyle) ammoniumphenyl porphyrin iodide (TAPP) as a cationic porphyrin, tetra sodium meso-tetrakis (p-sulphonatophenyle) porphyrin (TSPP) as an anionic porphyrin and manganese tetrakis (p-sulphonato phenyl)porphinato acetate (MnTSPP) as a metal porphyrin, with DNA have been studied by isothermaltitration microc...
متن کاملA water-soluble C60-porphyrin compound for highly efficient DNA photocleavage.
A water-soluble covalently linked C(60)-porphyrin compound-C(60)Por is reported to show enhanced DNA-cleaving activity. The highly enhanced DNA-cleaving activity is expected to be ascribed to the high water-solubility and affinity of C(60)Por to DNA, as well as to the accessibility to the charge-separated states C(60)˙(-)-Por˙(+) formed under radiation.
